Our daughter, on the right, has been primarily involved with Pony Club of late, so this is the first rated horse show that she has done this year. Pony club focuses on understanding the horse, the relationship of the rider to the horse, riding skills, and fun activities with the horse. This versatile but focused training has resulted in improved riding and it made a difference at Hi-Bid: she received Reserve Grand Champion in the Novice Equitation Division.
